This tour was our best all week. Geoff covered every little bit of Darwin history and general knowledge of the area was incredible . We had our teenage son with us and Geoff really got him involved and just made it a great fun evening . The wetlands were so beautiful and Geoff got you every advantage for amazing pics and views. If you’re a birdie this place is for you. Wonderful huge dinner at Humpty Doo pub….

This was a fabulous experience with a knowledge and genial guide. Geoff was also super helpful, providing us with tips for our next day’s trip to Darwin and sending us lots of pictures from the tour. Loved being in a small group and being introduced to lots of native flora & fauna. Thank you!

Fabulous tour through very interesting wetlands seeing a variety of birds, some small salties and wallabies-in a small group with a knowledgeable tour guide. Highly recommend heading off with Geoff to explore the top end. Tour ended with a relaxing dinner at the famous Humpty Doo Hotel.

Wildlife everywhere

Lots of wildlife watching. Birds, crocodile's, buffalo. Guide very quick to pull over for photo
opportunities.

Very interesting and fun small group tour. Geoff was very knowledgeable and we saw a variety of birds, including a barking owl, a jabiru and brolga. Small wallaby, small salty and some buffalo added to the wildlife scene. The wetlands were peaceful yet full of life. Binoculars were provided and we all had a window view. Excellent tour with a good dinner stop at Humpty Doo Hotel to finish.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day with Geoff and the excellent crocodile watching cruise included

Geoff the guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The vehicle was comfortable. Geoff
ensured that he engaged all participants and kept the atmosphere nice and relaxed.

We chose this small group tour for our last night in Darwin and it was great. Geoff our guide was knowledgeable and engaging and the Fogg Dam location delivered on beautiful scenery with a range of wildlife- birds, crocodiles, wallabies and buffalo.
The dinner and conversation at the pub was a fitting end to the night and our holiday
Geoff is also a great photographer and we appreciated the photos he shared with us the next day. A great tour I would recommend.

Geoff’s tour was wonderful. He is knowledgeable about Darwin’s history and equally so with wildlife. Exceptional at spotting and identifying birds. He takes shots with his amazing telephoto lens and shared them with us next morning. Geoff is so friendly and attentive and spends the 5 hour trip engaging with all and taking an interest too. I thoroughly recommend this small group tour to any bird lovers. We saw a croc at the dam too!

Our tour with Geoff was wonderful, from the moment we were picked up to drop off, everything ran exceptionally well. The tour was great fun lots of laughs very informative information was shared by Geoff as we made our way to Fogg Dam. The Dam was full of wildlife and the sunset was beautiful a wonderful place for taking photos. We travelled as a group of 4 and all really enjoyed this tour. Ending at Humpty Doo Hotel for drinks and dinner was also a great experience. Cold drinks and great food topped of this tour beautifully.

Great to see the wetlands area and learn all about the native wildlife, we even saw a small croc too. It felt a very personalised tour, even though Geoff does these tours all the time. It was great to receive the fabulous pics he took the following day, to share with others. Dinner at the pub was a good way to round the tour off at the end, food was good. Highly recommended tour with pick up from hotel.

He knows a lot about animals, nature, and history. He took wonderful photos with his professional camera and sent them to us. We saw crocodiles, wallabies, and lots of different birds. The Mercedes was super comfy, and there were some chips for a little snack on the way. We really enjoyed the trip and we can absolutely recommend it.

From being met at the airport in Darwin to being taken to our Hotel 5 days later after a most interesting tour. Private accommodation in a lovely unit, to touring in a comfortable landcruiser, 5 days of luxury. WW2 history and special places to bird life and reptiles, all in their natural habitat. Thanks, Geoff and Jane. We will be back in the Wet Season.

My wife and I have spent 5 days touring the Darwin Kakadu area with Geoff of Lookabout Tours. Geoff has taken us to historical places and wetlands that many tourist don't usually go such as Snake Creek and Leaning Tree wetlands. Geoff is very knowledgeable about the area and knows how to look after his customers. Great experience. Geoff takes some amazing photos which he has shared with us

Pick-up from the Darwin cruise terminal was perfect. Geoff was friendly, engaging, and accommodating to the interests of our group. He shared information about Darwin's history which was fascinating. If you are interested in wildlife/wildlife photography, you will love Geoff and his photography skills. Geoff knew the locations with the best likelihood of seeing particular birds and animals, and assisted us in spotting some of them in their environments. (At Fogg Dam, he spotted a pair of Barking Owls in a tree and helped us locating them and getting photographs). He also took excellent photographs of the sights along each tour, and sent them to the participants. We had an enjoyable time chatting with Geoff over lunch at the Humpty Doo Hotel. His love for the Darwin area and desire to share his extensive knowledge of it made this a a very enjoyable experience. We highly recommend this tour for birders, history buffs, and anyone interested in a beautiful adventure in Darwin.

Geoff our guide was incredibly knowledgeable not only about the wetlands and wildlife but also the history of Darwin. We had a small group including overseas travellers and had a very entertaining evening. Elaine and Susanne

Geoff is a wealth of information about Darwin and its birds and wildlife. Really gave us a good foundation of what Darwin is all about. Fogg Dam is amazing and the pictures Geoff took of the birds to share with us were such a bonus! Overall the experience was a treat and most fortunate to have had Geoff 😊

Geoff is a very friendly guide and has an impressive knowledge of Darwin and its environment. There wasn’t an enormous amount of wildlife at Fogg Dam, but Geoff knew where to find what was there. His knowledge of the bird life was very impressive. If you like bird watching Geoff is your man. The transportation was good, and the meal stop at Humpty Doo pub was very good. Lots of atmosphere there. If you’re looking for a small tour group with a flexible guide try this tour; you won’t be disappointed…👍👍👍

We had an awesome experience with Geoff as our guide. We saw lots of birds, wallabies
and other animals.
Our guide was very informative and fun!

Geoff, our guide was extremely good and professional in guiding us through the wetlands. He was very knowledgeable and had a vast amount of information about the wetlands. He managed to describe in great detail information about the wildlife we saw. How he could remember all that is beyond me. A great experience and a good day out.

The trip with Geoff was wonderful; he told us a great deal about Darwin and the wildlife. His knowledge was outstanding. We enjoyed the small group size and he was very helpful. We visited a wonderful pub where we had lunch. We saw buffaloes and a few bird species, but unfortunately no crocodiles or wallabies, which was a shame. We definitely recommend this tour with Geoff.
